Summary
LiveFmRadio (the “App”) does not require you to create an account and does not use cross-app tracking or third-party advertising SDKs. Your favorites, listening history, followed podcasts, episode progress, preferences, and alarms are stored locally on your device.
The App connects to independent radio, podcast, artwork, and audio providers to find and play the content you request. As with any internet request, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, and the requested URL.
Information handled by the App
Information stored on your device
The App may store the following information locally using Apple system storage technologies:
- Your selected country, language, genres, and playback preferences
- Favorite radio stations and followed podcasts
- Recently played radio stations and podcast episodes
- Podcast playback position and completion progress
- Sleep timer state while the timer is active
- Alarm schedules, repeat days, and selected stations
This information is not connected to an online LiveFmRadio account because the App does not provide user accounts.
Station interaction data
When you start a radio station, the App sends the station’s public identifier to Radio Browser. Radio Browser uses this event to increment an aggregate click count for that station and improve public popularity listings. LiveFmRadio does not add an account identifier, advertising identifier, device identifier, or app-specific user identifier to this event.
Network request data
When the App contacts a catalog service or loads a stream, episode, feed, or image, the receiving server can process ordinary network information. This can include your IP address, request date and time, requested URL, user-agent or networking details, and information necessary to return the requested content.
Information we do not request
LiveFmRadio does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, payment information, or advertising identifier. The App does not sell personal information and does not share information with data brokers.
Audio and offline storage
Live radio and podcast audio is played directly from the station, publisher, or hosting provider. LiveFmRadio does not record radio streams and does not download or store podcast episode audio for offline playback.
Third-party providers
The App relies on independent services to provide its catalog and media functionality. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable law.
Radio Browser
Station discovery, availability data, and aggregate station click reporting.
radio-browser.infoPodcast Index
Podcast discovery, metadata, episode listings, and feed information when configured.
podcastindex.orgApple iTunes Search
Podcast discovery and metadata as the App’s keyless catalog fallback.
Apple Privacy PolicyContent and artwork hosts
Radio stations, podcast publishers, hosting providers, and artwork servers deliver the media or images you request directly.
LiveFmRadio does not authorize third parties acting on its behalf to use App data for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. To the extent a provider processes information on behalf of LiveFmRadio, it is expected to apply protections consistent with this policy and applicable data-protection law. Independent stations, publishers, catalog services, and content hosts may process network requests under their own terms; LiveFmRadio does not control their independent practices.
How information is used
Information handled by the App is used only to:
- Provide radio and podcast discovery, search, and playback
- Personalize recommendations on your device
- Preserve favorites, followed podcasts, preferences, recent items, and playback progress
- Schedule alarms and notifications that you request
- Update Radio Browser’s aggregate public station popularity count
- Recover from failed streams and diagnose failed content requests during the current session
Tracking and advertising
LiveFmRadio does not use information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not create an advertising profile.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored information remains on your device until you clear the relevant history, remove a favorite or followed podcast, change a preference, delete an alarm, or uninstall the App. You can clear your recently played history from the Privacy section in the App’s Settings.
Because LiveFmRadio does not operate user accounts or a server-side user profile, it generally has no account data to retrieve or delete on your behalf. Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored App data in accordance with iOS behavior.
Third-party providers determine their own retention periods for technical request data they receive. Requests concerning information controlled by a provider should be directed to that provider.
Your choices and rights
Notifications and alarms
Notifications and alarms are optional. You can disable or change notification permission in iOS Settings and can delete or disable alarms inside LiveFmRadio. On supported systems, Apple processes the schedule required to present the alert.
Local information
You can manage favorites, followed podcasts, alarms, and preferences in the App. You can clear recent listening history in Settings. You can remove all locally stored App information by uninstalling LiveFmRadio.
Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information controlled by us. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To make a privacy request, use the contact information in the Contact section. We may need enough information to understand and respond to the request, but we will not ask for information that is unnecessary for that purpose.
California notice
LiveFmRadio does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable California law.
Children
LiveFmRadio is not directed specifically to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Live radio and podcast catalogs are supplied by independent providers and may include material intended for older audiences. Parents and guardians should use the parental controls available on Apple devices.
International processing
The catalog services, stations, podcast publishers, and content hosts used by the App may operate in countries other than your own. Network requests may therefore be processed internationally. Each provider’s policy describes its own international data practices.
Security
LiveFmRadio uses Apple platform security and system networking protections where supported. Some independent radio stations still provide HTTP-only media streams. The App permits non-HTTPS access only for media playback; API and image requests remain subject to secure transport requirements.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. LiveFmRadio limits the information it handles and avoids requesting information that is not needed for the App’s features.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when LiveFmRadio, its providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner where required by law.
